CACNE Blue&Gold Reception 2008

The Cal Alumni Club of New England is proud to invite you to join us for CACNE's annual Blue&Gold Reception! This is our most elegant evening of the year, and proceeds will go to support the Cal New England Leadership Scholarship.

On Saturday, May 10, we will be honoring the 2008 Cal New England Alum of the Year (Ed Brakeman '86) and 2008 Cal New England Young Alum of the Year: (Dick Co '02).

We will also be hearing from this year's keynote speaker: Cal football legend Joe Kapp '60! He was the last quarterback to take Cal to the Rose Bowl (in 1959!), was a starter in Super Bowl IV, played for the Patriots in 1970, and was Cal's head coach for The Play in 1982.

Where: Boston University's George Sherman Union, 5th floor (775 Commonwealth Ave, Boston, MA)
Dress: Cocktail attire
Cost: $40 general admission, $30 for alums of the past 10 years
Food: Includes full dinner
